Understanding Educational Statistics Using Microsoft Excel and SPSS

I find this text to be an excellent tool for teaching and learning statistics in way that demonstrates its usefulness. Often statistics texts are too technical, making the concepts difficult to understand for those encountering them for the first time.

This is a truly remarkable textbook in at least two respects.First, it links statistical methodology- in particular demonstrating the use of SPSS- to actual real-world research situations.
